In 1907, the Wiener Werkstätte began publishing a numbered series of postcards, which would ultimately exceed 1,000. The cards celebrated contemporary events and popular fashion, and many were designed to celebrate holidays.
This set of ten whimsical holiday cards is produced by the Neue Galerie, and incorporates five unique postcard designs, created by Mela Koehler for the Wiener Werkstätte, celebrating Christmas and the winter season.
